It is expected that all Christ Church School pupils will wear the school uniform since this engenders a greater sense of belonging, which is reflected in a pride for their school. We trust that parents will encourage their children to look smart and help us to maintain high standards of appearance. Most Christ Church School uniform can be purchased in high street shops and supermarkets, and from Hewitts.
Hair: Hair should be natural not dyed, must be tied back using a hair tie coloured red, white or black. Our school has an inclusive view for all of its pupils and as such we recognise that there are some children who may need to use products which nourish and enrich specific hair types and also help families to manage and maintain their child’s hair. However the school does not permit hair products used purely for cosmetic/aesthetic purposes such as gels or dyes which provide no nourishment to a child’s hair.
Earrings: If ears are pierced only studs are allowed. No jewelry, including ear studs, is to be worn during PE lessons.

The main school uniform is as follows:
| Trousers/shorts – charcoal grey | Skirt/pinafore dress – charcoal grey. |
| Christ Church sweatshirt or cardigan – red with logo | Polo shirt (long or short sleeved) – white |
| Shirt/blouse – white, must be worn with school (red/black stripe) tie | Summer dress/playsuit – cotton checked red/white. |
| Socks – grey, black or white | Tights – red, grey, black or white |
| Shoes – plain black shoes (no higher than the ankle; closed toe and unheeled), velcro or buckle fastenings preferred for young children | Waterproof raincoat/anorak with hood– any colour but not made from denim or leather, and ideally with reflective strips to promote visibility |
| Scarf and hat for the winter – red with school logo | School bookbag – red with school logo (note that no other bags are allowed due to lack of storage space) |
| School cap (baseball style) for summer and ALL Educational Visits – red with school logo |
PE kit (for all years) should be worn to school on the day your child’s class has PE, and is as follows:
| T Shirt – white, plain or with school logo | Shorts/tracksuit bottoms – black, no logos |
| Plimsolls (for indoor PE) – black | Trainers (for outdoor PE) – plain white or black, no log |
