Welcome to Year 4, a year full of inspiring topics where we make sure that continuing our journey as lifelong learners is at the heart of everything we do. Children will grow in confidence and independence as they find their voice as writers and go deeper in their learning through using our school learning values. We will also be practicing hard to build fluency in our times tables to make sure everyone feels ready for the Multiplication Tables Check.

Useful Information
PE: Our PE days are Mondays (indoor) and Fridays (outdoor). We have two weeks of daily swimming lessons in the Autumn Term.
Home Learning
- Reading: Children are expected to read and record a comment in their Reading Record at least five times a week.
- Spellings: Children are given at least ten spelling words to practise each week and are tested on Thursdays.
- Maths: A maths activity is uploaded onto Seesaw each week for children to complete either online or on paper.
Year 4 lead our school Harvest Service in the church in the Autumn Term.
