Safeguarding

Safeguarding at Christ Church

The safeguarding and welfare of our children is everyone’s responsibility, and it is the first priority of everyone who works here. We are committed to creating a school where every child feels safe, listened to and valued.

Our safeguarding team

Designated Safeguarding Lead: Mrs Hudson
Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads: Mrs Jones / Mrs Porter / Mrs Imana / Miss Ingram

If you are worried about a child,

Please speak to any member of our safeguarding team in person, telephone the school on 020 8660 7500, or email: office1@christchurch.croydon.sch.uk
You do not need to be certain that something is wrong — if you are worried, tell us, and we will take it from there.

Our Policies

Our Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy is published on our Policies page and is reviewed annually by the governing body in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
We follow Operation Encompass, which means we are notified when a child in our care has been present at a domestic incident, so that we can offer support quietly and sensitively the following day.
